One of the fields that have seen an increase in popularity is the musical industry. More and more K-Pop idols are venturing into musical acting and taking on challenging roles and performances. So, we’ve compiled a list of the musicals that will be on in 2022 starring K-Pop idols in the cast. Note: This list will be updated throughout the year.
1. “KLIMT: Into the Time of His Soul”

What it’s about: It is set in 17th century Europe and explores the friendship between a patient and a doctor. What’s it about: It is a story about the three members of the 5446th North Korean special operation unit infiltrating a village of South Korea with the grand mission of reunification. What’s it about: The musical is set in South Korea and the fictional country Khamur. It is set during a civil war and followers the story of Laman (from Khamur) who visits South Korea. 14. “Seopyeonje”

What’s it about: It tells a story set in World War I and the story of Mata Hair who is a dancer-spy from the Netherlands. What’s it about: The story of Charlie who inherited a shoe factory that is on the verge of closing down. 21. “The Three Musketeers”

What’s it about: The musical is based on the representative French work “The Three Musketeers” by Alexandre Dumas. It tells the story of d’Artagnan, a young man who dreams of becoming a 17th-century French royal general, and the legendary gunmen Athos, Aramis, and Portos discovering the plot surrounding Louis XIII.
