We have prepared very hard for an amazing performance to make it up for all the waiting from the fans! A lot of fans showed love and support for our comeback, so it was overall a very happy journey. DK Your debut album has garnered praise and appreciation from all over the world, selling nearly 82k copies! How does it feel when you imagine so many people loving your music? I feel grateful for the K2YWEs all over the world for sending love to our music, and we are working very hard to show a more developed side of us. To all the K2YWEs, the newbie K2YWEs, and the soon to be K2YWEs, please look forward to BLANK2Y’s upcoming journey! Louis How do you think you have grown, both as a group and as individuals, from your debut to your first comeback? All the members including myself have grown over time, album after album, and we are going to continue to grow and show the best side of ourselves, so please look forward to it! DongHyuk The music video for your title track ‘FUEGO(Burn it up)’ has some of the coolest special effects and animation. How did you react when you watched it for the first time? I felt something I have never felt before because it seemed so new, and all the CGIs and special effects that I didn’t realize existed during the shoot were very interesting to see in the end result. Mikey What would you say is the main difference between ‘FUEGO(Burn It Up)’ and ‘FUEGO(Fearless)’, and which song do you relate to the most? Just like how the title is identical but the subtitle is different, we tried to express both songs with different emotions. I sympathize more with the song “FUEGO (Burn It Up)” because it matches the overall vibe of the album, and I personally try to match the vibe of the song during our performance as well as if I’m catching on fire myself. U The final song on your 2nd mini-album is called ‘I Wish – Fan Song’ and it is especially dear to fans all over the world. Were you thinking of any moments with K2YWE in particular while recording this song to make your voice come out so wonderfully? Yes! The overall result came out very well because we thought of the happy memories that we made with our fans as well as our grateful feeling towards them while recording the fan song. YoungBin Have you made any unforgettable memories with K2YWE during your 1st MEET & LIVE TOUR so far? I’ve never been out of the country before, so it seems unreal that I got to visit the K2YWE fans from different countries. I remember all the faces of the people who came all the way to support our performance, and I also remember when the fans prepared a cover of our songs, which I feel extremely grateful for. SungJun Did you prepare anything special for K2YWE during the 2022 MOKKOJI KOREA in Malaysia? We had a chance to talk about Korean traditional folk dance and mask dance in 2022 MOKKOJI KOREA, and we have prepared an actual mask dancing stage to demonstrate it better! SoDam If you could go on a world tour without any restrictions, which countries would you want to go to? Do you have any bucket list activities you would like to do there? I would love to visit the UK because I’m a huge fan of the English Premier League. I would love to spread the name BLANK2Y all over the UK and also perform there as well.
